Burt Ward, the original Robin, stops by dog food plant in Siou...

The original Robin from the television show Batman paid a visit to Sioux City today. Burt Ward has been instrumental in creating a high end dog food called "Gentle Giants" that he says adds years to dogs' lives. He stopped by the consumer supply dog food plant. Ward has been involved with the company for almost ten years. "They were willing to make a super high end product, a product that was completely custom. And combined with the way we feed dogs and with this Gentle Giants dog food, we have dogs living twenty seven years," Ward said. While Ward credits Gentle Giants with extending the lives of dogs everywhere, he wishes he could have found a way to extend the life of his crime fighting friend Adam West, who recently passed away. "The irony for me is that, we really have doubled and tripled the lifespan of dogs and I would give anything if I could have doubled the lifespan of my dear friend, I would love to have him here another eighty eight years," he said about West.
